Extremely Slow Debian Repository Downloads from India (Airtel Fiber)

Hello LiteSpeed Team,

I'm experiencing very slow download speeds from the LiteSpeed Debian repository while installing OpenLiteSpeed and LS PHP packages.

Environment

  • Ubuntu Server 24.04 LTS
  • India
  • Airtel Fiber
Downloads from the LiteSpeed repository are usually only 8 to 15 KB/s. For example, the lsphp85 (15.2 MB) package takes more than 10 minutes to download.

The same server downloads packages from Ubuntu, nginx.org, and Docker repositories at full speed, so the issue appears to be specific to the LiteSpeed repository.

Is anyone else seeing this, or could someone check if there is a routing or mirror issue affecting users in India?

I'm happy to provide ping, traceroute, mtr, or curl timing results if needed.
